we need one another

we need one another

Spiritual warfare, just like any other warfare, will become intense sometimes to the point that you will need help from outside. What will you do when you find that you have been surrounded from every side and all avenues of getting out have been blocked. Well, you can stand still and wait for somebody to come to your aid or for a miracle to happen. The other reasonable thing you’ll do is to make a distress call for help. When help comes from outside, your enemies will flee for their dear lives. At times a child off God will find himself/herself surrounded in such a manner. How will you know that you are surrounded? It will begin with the enemy taking grounds you had earlier on occupied, you become weak and frail and if you aren’t careful, will collapse. The following are tell tale signs that you are surrounded. If you:
 Become very weak in prayer
 Become weak in studying the Word
 Find it difficult to share Christ
 Lose interest in joining brethren in fellowships
 Doors of evil in your life/family/spouse seems to have opened and you can’t close them
 Blessings you had been enjoying and which are rightfully yours and which now have become far from your reach
 Thriving of satanic reports in your life/family
 Etc
If you are in the above and have prayed with very little success, its time you call for help. But from where? Ask the Holy Spirit to put in your heart brethren to call to stand with you. We need to lift one another up, as Joshua did to Moses. One will drive a thousand, two will drive ten thousands, many will drive many more. DON’T STRUGGLE ALONE
YOU WILL NEED A PERSON/PEOPLE WHO IS (ARE) FREE TO DELIVER YOU WHEN YOUR HANDS SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN TIED!

PRAYER FOR THE NATION OF KENYA AS WE APPROACH THE GENERAL ELECTIONS 2012-2013

(You can use these prayers to pray for any other nation)

This is an urgent call to students in Kenya and any other interested person to come together to stand in the gap for this nation as we move towards the elections. We request and challenge each one to set EVERY FRIDAY dubbed the BLEESED FRIDAY to pray for this nation as an individual and also in our Christian unions. The C.U patrons or Christian teachers can download and print the sample prayer below for students’ use.

WHY PRAY FOR KENYA?

  • God requires us to pray for our leaders, our nation and our people. 1Tim 2:1-4
  • It is only God who can build us and who can securely protect us. Ps 127:1-2
  • God counts it as a sin if we don’t pray for him to intercede. He is always waiting for us to call him for he will do nothing if we won’t pray. 1Sam 12:23, Isa 65:1
  • We release a lot of power when we pray in unity. A thousand flees at the threat of one, ten thousand at the threat of two, at the threat of five, they all flee till they are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop. Isa 30:17
  • If we shall come before the Lord as one people, then nothing shall be impossible for us. Gen 11:6
  • The effectual fervent (unceasing/passionate) prayers of the righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

So welcome you to the BLESSED FRIDAY’S prayer network. Let us look to every Friday as a day that the LORD GOD is calling us to him to seek him so as to bless us. Pass this information to as many C.U patrons, born again Christian teachers, students, Christian ministers etc as you can. You can consider to use the prayer points below, or add others as the Holy Spirit shall guide you. God bless you as we jointly seek the face of the Lord. Let us approach his throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive his mercy and grace (Hebrews 4:16).

  • Our father and LORD our God.                 Ex 6:2, Deut 6:2, Deut 5:9

  • We come to you, o holy God, repenting our sins, and those of our leaders and people of this nation. 1 Tim 2:1-4
  • We, the people of this nation, have walked in pride, committed murder, idolatry, injustice, corruption, nepotism, hatred, greed, selfishness and many others sins. Lord forgive us as the people of Kenya. 2 Peter 3:9, Jer 7:1-11
  • We welcome you into our nation, our government, our parliament, our cities, our counties, our towns, our villages, our offices, our schools, our churches, our courts, our police force and all other institutions in this nation.

  • Shake the heavenlies and the earth, let wicked foundations and works of darkness that have stood against you be uprooted by your power. Heb 12:26
  • Let the foundations of this nation be established in you. Let your enemies be brought down to nothingness.
