DELIVERANCE FROM HOUSE-HOLD WICKEDNESS

– Begin with praise and thanks giving
Psalms 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
– Put on the full armour of God
Ephesians 6:13-18 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
– Take the scepter of your strength in the day of power. ( You take by claiming that “I take the Sceptre of my strength in the day of my power. My troops are now ready for battle and I rule as a king in the midst of my enemies”.
Psalms 110:2-3 The Lord will send forth from Zion the scepter of Your strength; rule, then, in the midst of Your foes. Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array out of the womb of the morning; to You [will spring forth] Your young men, who are as the dew.

You have a right to pray for you family members. Stand with this Word which declares the right to deliver your people as a result of your being covenanted with the blood of Jesus.
Zechariah 9:11 As for you also, because of and for the sake of the [covenant of the Lord with His people, which was sealed with sprinkled] covenant blood, I have released and sent forth your imprisoned people out of the waterless pit

-Repent on your behalf and that of your people of known and even unknown sins. Mention the ones you know. Renounce association with any manner of wickedness- mention what you renounce. Eg witchcraft, vodoo, immorality, unforgiveness, murder etc

You will be opposed if walking in sin.

Now you are armed and standing on the Word. Fully with angels ready to help you in battle. Take note of key areas to deal with: Gates, foundations, generational curses, altars, covens, wicked priesthood, Monitoring systems and demonic programmings etc.
Repentance and renounciation to any of the above is key, for you should not be yoked with evil…you can’t fight it.

Take note that you are fighting at high places. You are sitter with Christ in Heavenly places. You declare what to destroy and angels take up the battle. They are waiting for your order.
Hebrews 1:13-14 [ But to which of the angels has He ever said:] [” Sit at My right hand,] [Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?] [ Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?]

Begin to pray/destroy.

1.  I rise against every satanic altar speaking in my house/mother’s/ father’s/father -in-law house that is speaking against me/wife/husband/children/my breakthrough/ my career/ progress, be uprooted and shattered completely in Jesus name
2. Every strongman in my family (or as 1 above), I bind and cast you away in Jesus name.
3. Wicked foundations and gates being used by my enemies from my …..house, I destroy you by thunder in Jesus name
4. Every word or tongue that accuses me in my …house, I silence and condemn you in Jesus name
5. I terminate the engagements of every satanic priest working against my…in Jesus name.
6. Every satanic coven, and all those who gather against me/…, I scatter you today in Jesus name.
7. Mighty angels of war and chariots of fire, arise and bombard every pit/demonic prison/bondage operating against… by thunder in Jesus name. Arise and save my…. in Jesus name
8. I frustrate those who gather to plan evil against me/my …  in Jesus name. I scatter them and turn their wisdom to foolishness in Jesus name.
9. Oh earth (hold soil/earth as you pray this) arise and vomit my pursuers I. Jesus name. Let them have no peace.
10. Every wickedness, evil schemes, projections, manipulations through the sun, moon, starry hosts, fire, water , soil or wind- I terminate your operations in Jesus name
11. Every voice that summons me/my… in the spiritual realms, let thunder and lightening answer you in Jesus name.
12. Every satanic retaliation against my …., Die now in Jesus name.

Now Build
– I raise an altar for the living God here.
– I speak peace and life in this…in Jesus name
-I proclaim liberty, life, breakthroughs, success, health, prosperity, happiness, unity in Christ, salvation etc in this ….I. Jesus name.
– I release the light of God now to consume every power of darkness in my …in Jesus name
– I release generational blessings in my…in Jesus name
– I arise and advance by faith in Jesus name.
– I exalt Jesus as Lord today in my …in Jesus name

PARTAKING OF THE COMMUNION/LORDS TABLE

John 6:51-57 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us [His] flesh to eat?” Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.
Many people take the communion in ignorance and for this reason it becomes a ritual that never works for them. It is only when you will know the truth that you will be set free.
John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  Partaking of it with the right understanding and consciousness will set you free.
– The communion is a mystery
– Jesus said that the bread that we take and the drink we partake is His flesh and blood
– He also said that we take it often in His remembrance- this means that taking it is renewing our eternal policy with him
– Taking the blood means that whatever that flows in Jesus (the vine) begins to flow in you (the branch). This causes you to have eternal life, and this eternal life is the one that swallows up human life.
– Having eternal life makes you desire what is in Christ, it makes you desire eternity with God and your thirst for what is wordly wanes.

-Coming to the Lord’s table is like approaching the physicians table. Jesus took our infirmities and by his stripes we are healed. We need to come with the understanding that we are having an encounter with the best doctor, whose diognizes is perfect and the medicine he offers is the best ever.  In it you get healing of the body and mind.
– There is nothing to compare with the nutritional value in the body and blood of Christ. Do you have an deficiencies? Here is the medicine. You also become spiritually indestructible as He and the father dwell in you. It takes care of anything that may harm you supernaturally.
– As the Israelites ate manna in the wilderness, we eat the body and drink the blood of Jesus in our today’s spiritual wilderness
– Jesus said that we do this in remembrance of him
Luke 22:19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke [it,] and gave [it] to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.“
We participate in the communion remembering the healing and being set free accomplished by Christ for us.
– “so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me” means no devil can harm you for you put on the body of Christ.

-The blood of Jesus covenants us by making us have a right standing (righteousness) with God. It is the highest covenant that is still active even today more than any other covenant made against us. It speaks that we deserve all the blessings we gain through the death of Christ. As we are partaking of it, we are saying to ourselves: “I am healed, I am forgiven, I am delivered, I am free, I am the blessed of the Lord, I am the righteousness of God.”
1 Corinthians 11:25 In the same manner [He] also [took] the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink [it,] in remembrance of Me.“
Taking it often is like the doctors prescription of drugs. Use it often and you will forget sicknesses and infirmities.
– The communion INFUSES GOD’S KIND OF LIFE  into your bones, your blood stream, your marrow, mind and spirit man. It is an end-time wisdom of God for dominion.
– You don’t need to wait to go to heaven to enjoy the blessings of heaven then. “Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life” is in the present tense. As you partake of it, trust God that you are receiving health, peace, gladness of heart, hunger and thirst for God, love for God’s people and a desire to walk in his ways. Jesus has wiped your tears so you cry no more.
– Having eternity means death is swallowed up. The curse of death is what brings corruption to your body through lusts, sicknesses, fear, addictions, rebellion, drugs, unbelieve, mental disorders and even poverty (which starts from the mind/mind set).

– Walking with the right revelation of the Lord’s table can bring a lot of deliverance in your life. For instance, it can deliver one from satanic spouses or demoni spiritual partners/spouses. Christ is your bridegroom and you are the bride. His blood reminds all and sundry that any past covenant is nullified by the blood of the lamb which you are partaking. You are now in a covenant relationship with your bride, your husband.

Isaiah 62:5 As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. (NIV)

Declare that you are married to Christ and any other marriage covenant with the evil one is hereby terminated.

As you partake of the communion, make declarations of who you are and the benefits you are getting (you can borry many from this teaching). State what Christ has for you and resist what the devil has tried to bring your way. Agree with the benefits of eternal life and declare you are walking in them.

– Apart from the church you can partake of the communion in your house with your family members. But they must be born again else you bring a curse on yourself.  Your children too can partake of it as it is written
Isaiah 8:18 Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! [We] [are] for signs and wonders in Israel From the LORD of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.

DECLARATIONS OF VICTORY OVER YOUR LIFE IN THE YEAR AND MONTHS AHEAD

We are created to walk in victory. Kindly join me as we dissect and get divine Revelations from Isaiah 61:1-7 for every believer to proclaim in order to walk in  divine victory and dominion in the year and months ahead.

Isaiah 61:1-7 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. Strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards. And you will be called priests of the LORD, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.

Jesus read this verse and declared that it was fulfilled when he came. And he later told his disciples  that the same commissioning the father had given him he was giving to them.
John 20:21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
Remember Jesus was anointed to do good, and the same anointing rests with us.
Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

God too is with us to go around doing good.
Now, from the book of Isaiah 61 we learn that
1. V.1 We are anointed to preach to the poor. You can’t preach what you don’t have. You are anointed to release what you have. This year, declare that you will walk in dominion and divine prosperity and that the overflow of your prosperity is reaching many who are poor and changing their destinies.
2. V.1 Your heart is sound, and by this anointing you will see many heartbroken people healed and restored.
3. V.1 You live above captivity and bondage (Read Zechariah 9:11). You are set free from such. You are not a slave to captivity and satanic prisons, you are they master and they now before you and serve as a king. This year/month/season, declare that you are walking in power and dominion to set captives free. Galatians 5:1 tells us that we are free. It is only a free man who can set those bound free! Gates, captivity, barriers, bondages, prisons are going to chain your enemies in Jesus name. Declare you are walking in freedom.
4. V.2 Declare that this is the year that the Lord has highly favoured you. His favour sorounds you as a shield. Anything with your name has God’s favour on it. Declare that out of the abundance of God’s favour on you that you will be a minister of favour to others. You will decree favour to many and it shall be established (Job22:28)
5. V.2 Declare that God vengeance as the King of kings is over your life working against your enemies. Confess that as a king you are going to see God’s vengeance against those who rise to fight His people.
6. V.2,3 Declare that the God of all comfort will be your comfort this year. From your heart, words of comfort will minister to those who are mourning and hurt. This year you will not mourn but will minister to those who mourn.
7. V.3 Declare that you will walk in God’s grace and glory. That you will see many of God’s people’s face given beauty for ashes. That you will be clothed with garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
8. V.4 That you shall raise former desolations and see repair of all that went down in your life.
9. V.6 Declare that you will be a priest of the most high God. You are anointed to minister and you will eat the wealth of the nations as the wealth of the wicked is kept for the righteous
10.V7 That for your shame you will get double portion. Declare it is your year of double portion.

WALKING IN FINANCIAL DOMINION AND BREAKTHROUGH

Ephesians 1:18-19 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength

There is great power deposited in us by the Spirit of God. It is simply incomparable. This power is greater than any power of darkness. It helps is walk in dominion, but only if we have the revelation.

Exodus 7:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

We are made to live in Dominion over every circumstance. We are to walk in spiritual dominion, financial dominion and over every circumstance you can name. You can add your name where the name of Moses appears, and any obstacle or circumstance where Pharaoh’s name appears. You are god over that circumstance.
Today you need to command debt, lack , poverty or stagnation out of your life and declare you are living in abundance, plenty and prosperity.

Deuteronomy 8:18 “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for [it is] He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as [it is] this day.

God has given us power (exceedingly great power) to walk in divine health and wealth. The ability for a Christian to get wealth comes from power that God gives. When the devil was tempting Satan, he promised him wealth if he bows before him, and sad to say that many people have bowed to the devil to get that power. Whose power is genuine, God’s or Satan’s?

Psalms 8:5-6 You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:

We are made to rule over the work of God’s hands – and this includes everything that exists whether visible or invisible. This includes health and wealth.

Psalms 66:3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you.

Poverty, lack and debt is evil and a curse just like sickness and diseases. God has given His child power to cause poverty to cringe before them.

Deuteronomy 8:15 He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock.

Some situations may look like a rock; impossible to let water. God told Moses to speak to the rock and it will let water gush!
We can command every financial hardship out of our way and command prosperity to gush out of the rock (poverty).

Judges 14:14 He replied, “Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the strong, something sweet.” …

Possibilities can flow from the impossible.

We receive what we need as Christians through declarations. When we speak, the words we speak are spirit and they are life, and they connect with the spiritual world to start bringing effect in our material world.
We declare, and we go forth to work, trusting God to make us get wealth, and open for us doors we never imagined existed. We speak even when there seems to be no sign of the situation to change. We speak life into lifeless, we speak as our Father speaks. We are created to rule over the works of his hands.

Job 22:28 You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.

Keeping quiet will rob you of your dominion. God dominated the world in his creation by speaking, we should do the same. Everything that exists has ears, it can hear the voice of God. Situations have ears too. That is why you can command peace and it comes where there was anxiety and fear. Angels are waiting for your  word to minister to you, their work is to minister to saints. We however keep them inactive if we don’t give them work to do.
We are to walk head high, but lack and poverty will cause you to run and hide yourself. Arise today and speak abundance, open doors, plenty and prosperity where the enemy has planted debts and poverty. Declare that you walk and live in the world of abundance, where dew of heaven falls on you and the land you live in is buttered. Declare that angels for prosperity are connecting with you and the Lord is leading you through open doors. Keep on declaring and commanding those who held you blessings in the East, West, South or North to keep no more but to release. Declare that those who have stolen are restoring seven times. Soon you will seek to see the mountain bit you shall not find it. The spiritual fuels the blessings of the Lord to manifest in the physical.
Walk in the faithfulness of God through tithing and giving sacrifices then declare Malachi 3:10-11 over your life that God is rebuking those who rose to devour you, and that He has opened windows of heaven and released blessings upon you. Blessings are all around you. Speak it when you feel like doing it and when you have no cent in your pocket. That is what you are. God defines you, not circumstances, this is the language of the new man, whom you are in Christ. For our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling of strongholds

POWERFUL WAY TO PRAY FOR CLOSE FRIENDS TO COME TO CHRIST

Key Texts
Romans 10:1 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.
Zechariah 9:11-12 As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit. Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.
John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Called to Worship Him

God’s will for you, your friends and family members is that they may come to know Him. You were born again in your family and among your friends for God to use you to reach them. Whoever is in darkness needs a higher force/power to set himself free, and you have that power-the power in the blood and in Christ’s name.
Zechariah 9:11 points out that because of your relationship with God through the covenant blood, He will deliver your people. This can be related to having someone in an influential position, and because of your close relation with him/her, he/she requests you to second someone to him/her for assistance!
Jesus is saying that because of your relationship with Him, ask Him to save that friend/family member and he will do it to honour His covenant with you! This is a sure bet. You can bank on it claim it and declare it. Thank God for what He is doing. We have been called to proclaim the praises of him who has already called us out of that darkness into his marvellous light. As you pray and proclaim,  you are making him to stretch his hand over that person, break the yokes, chains, bondage, gates and pull him out of that pit and place him/her back to his fortress. Ask God for restoration too of what has been stolen, it is part of the package!!

Breakthrough prayers on “The Kingdom of God”

Key texts: Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven.
Matthew 12:28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
Genesis 1:2-3 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
Colossians 2:14-16 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,

In brief, when the Kingdom of God is come, the King of glory comes. The works of darkness are defeated for the King of everlasting light has come. Darkness has to flee. This King of glory has taken captivity captive, disarmed principalities, powers, rulers and authorities. He has sat you with Christ in heavenly places (spiritually, that is where you are if you are born again). When his kingdom is come, His glory moves with him, together with the presence of the Holy Spirit, who is hovering over, waiting for a word to be spoken so that He may effect change and bring to life those things which are not. So we should arise and shine, and speak as our Father speaks.

Prayers and declarations
-O LORD my God, I call upon your name
– Let your kingdom come and let your will be done in this place/my family/business/career (etc) as it is in heaven
-O King of glory take over in this place(name any other)
– I proclaim Jesus is Lord here and the kingdom of darkness is defeated
– As I am seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places, I proclaim establishment of the kingdom of God here and destruction of the kingdom of darkness, it’s associated altars, Gates and wicked foundations
– I operate under the law of Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, and the law of sin and death cannot operate here now (Rom8:1)
-The glory of God is risen in this place and the Spirit of God is here to do signs and wonders as I decree and declare life.
– I speak and proclaim life here in Jesus name. (Repeat for others like: peace, healing, joy, unity, salvation, the fear of the Lord, deliverance, restoration, boldness, favor, revival, renewal, a hunger for God, glory of God, opening of doors of glory, open heaven, breakthroughs)
– The Lord my God goes before me, contending with those who fight with me (Isa49:25) setting my children free, shattering doors of captivity in drugs etc, shaking wicked foundations, breaking prisons(Micah 2:13), cutting off yokes and chains of bondage and uprooting wickedness
– The Lord my God is pursuing my oppressors, overtaking them and defeating them. I arise and walk in victory
– I mount above barriers and access treasures of darkness and riches kept in secret places
– I reign above debts, poverty and lack
– Everyone sees the glory of the Kingdom of God here in Jesus name
– My feet crush my enemies, I am highly favored
– My family/ career etc will never be the same again as the King of glory reigns here
– My enemies cannot locate me as I am hidden in the secret places of the most high God(Ps91)
– Defeat and loss is alien (can not touch me) in my life/family etc. I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus
– My God has satisfied me with long life
– My children cannot be stolen by Satan, they are for signs and wonders
-O arise and move from glory to glory in Jesus name
– As I operate in this kingdom, I am prospering and I am productive in the kingdom of God
– I raise the banner of Jesus high, every other banner is brought down in Jesus name
-As the Spirit of God hovers here, I proclaim ressurrection of buried potentials here, divine alignments and connections with divine destiny helpers in Jesus name
– I arise and shine here in Jesus name. Glory be to God

Note: The most important idea here is to understand the beauty of having the kingdom of God and knowledge of how to walk and benefit from it. The prayers above are not exhaustive enough. If you keep on making these prayers your world will change as you affirm Jesus, the king of glory to be in charge.

PRAYER- the power that melts mountains

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Prayer is the gateway to fellowship with our God. Prayer is key to opening doors and walking in glory. Prayer time should be the desire for every Christian. Much has been written about prayer, but I would wish to point out how to have breakthrough in prayer. In all the steps below, be calm, put anxiety or other cares completely out of your mind, let your heart be at rest and KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS CHRIST ONLY. Ask God to open the eyes of your heart and pray for the items he places in your heart (not mind) as he leads. Don’t allow any distraction or let your mind to wonder.

1. Take time to praise / worship. Many battles are won through this.

2. Adoration

3. Pray in tongues

4. Pray in words as Spirit leads. Make decrees as per the Word. Pray prophetically even over yourself and household. Agree with God in His word for you

5. Intercede for others as the Spirit leads.

6. Thankgiving

7. Quietness before God (then Do as He leads)

HOW TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT

Step Number 1
Help the believer see that God has already given the Holy Spirit and that it is now up to that person to receive God’s free Gift. Above everything else, help the believer see that he is not to beg God to fill him with the Holy Spirit. The promise that the Holy Spirit was to be given was fulfilled in Acts chapter 2. The Holy Spirit came on the Day of Pentecost, and He has been here ever since. After that time God hasn’t given the Holy Spirit to anyone. Now people simply have to receive the Holy Spirit. The apostles didn’t pray that God would give the Samaritans the Holy Ghost.They prayed that they might receive the Holy Ghost: “Then laid they their hands on them, and they RECEIVED the Holy Ghost” (Acts 8:17).

Step Number 2
Show the person who has come to receive the Holy Ghost that anyone who is saved is ready to immediately receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:37-38. Some people think there are certain things they have to do to qualify to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
For example, some think they have to make restitution for past sins.
V 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Some people have imagined that one has to be perfect before he can get the Holy Ghost. However, even the great Apostle Paul said he wasn’t perfect. Yet we know he had the Holy Spirit.

Step Number 3 Tell people that when you lay hands on them, they are to receive the Holy Ghost. Anyone can lay hands on another in faith, for God honors faith. However, there is also a ministry of laying on of hands, and some are used along these lines more than others. But anyone can lay their hands on a person in faith as a point of contact, and tell them, “This is the time — right now — that you are to receive the Holy Ghost.”

Step Number 4
Tell the candidate what to expect as he receives the Holy Spirit; otherwise, he won’t know what is happening when the Holy Spirit begins to move on him. Tell the candidate that he is to expect the Holy Spirit to move upon his vocal organs and put supernatural words on his lips which he will have to speak out himself in cooperation with the Holy Spirit. Remember, the person is the one who does the actual speaking, not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives the utterance, but man does the actual speaking. The point is this: the Holy Ghost doesn’t take you over, so to speak, and force you to do anything. But you can respond to Him and follow His promptings. He will give you the utterance, but you do the talking. Nowhere in the Bible do we find that the Holy Ghost spoke in tongues. Every scripture reference tells us that the person receiving the Holy Ghost does the talking and speaks the supernatural utterance — tongues — the Holy Spirit gives him.
ACTS 2:4 [They ] began to SPEAK with other tongues, as THE SPIRIT gave them UTTERANCE.

Step Number 5
It may be necessary to help some folks get over their fears first before they can receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Many seekers have been told by well-meaning people that they might get something that is false or counterfeit when receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
LUKE 11:11-13 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: HOW MUCH MORE SHALL YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THEM THAT ASK HIM?
God promises to give His Spirit to those who ask him, not a counterfeit spirit.

Step Number 6
Tell the candidate to open his mouth and be ready to use his own mouth and vocal chords, for the Holy Spirit will give the utterance, but he must yield and give voice to that utterance. At the same time the believer should tell God in his heart, “I am receiving the Holy Spirit right now by faith.” Insist that the person does not use the natural words but the ones the Spirit of God gives him. When that person can hear himself speak in tongues in a distinct language, he will have assurance and confidence that he has received the Holy Ghost. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, OUT OF HIS BELLY [spirit] SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER.

Step Number 7
Keep the candidate from being distracted. For instance, don’t permit a crowd to gather around the candidate, giving instructions all at once. This will confuse a person. I like to have only a few workers whom I have specially instructed to help folks receive the Holy Spirit. Many times folks are a little slow about yielding to the Spirit, but if someone is there to help encourage them to yield to the Holy Spirit, people can more readily receive. For example, when going swimming, sometimes it is hard to get some folks in the water, but if you will take the lead and get in the water and swim around and say, “The water sure feels good,” they will be encouraged to get in the water too. Similarly, sometimes you can simply speak in tongues yourself after praying with the candidate, and this will encourage the candidate to “follow you into the water,” so to speak — into the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Sharing Christ in one Minute

The mandate that Christ gave us when he lived amongst us was to witness to others about him. Some Christians however find it difficult to share Christ. Some of the reasons may include:

1. Fear

2. Lack of knowledge of how to go about it

3. Lack of desire

4. Lack of an opportunity to share

We have opportunities always presented to us by the Holy Spirit to tell others about Christ. I know many of the readers would really wish to share the gospel of Jesus to others. Here is a one minute witness plan you can use (Developed by Oasis World Ministries,  www. Oneminutewitness.org).

1.Permission- After creating a rapport with the person you want to talk to,  ask him or her whether he can allow you to ask him/ her a question 

a. May I ask you a question, what is the best thing that ever happened to you? Let him/her respond

b.  May I share the best thing that’s ever happened to me? 

2. Describe your lifebefore Christ. Share your testimony.  Use adjectives like I was fearful,  hopeless etc

3. Describe your turning point. Mention how you met Jesus and how he changed your life

4. Describe your life after meeting Jesus. 

5. State how your life would be without Christ.  “If I had never met Christ… ”

 Voila! You have shared Christ in a minute. You can lead the person to Christ if he wishes, answer the questions he/she has or exchange contacts to talk later. 

Always ask the Holy Spirit to give you an opportunity to share your testimony to others. He has many people he can lead you to. Your testimony is for Christ’s glory. Use it to serve God. What a joy it is to share what Christ has done to you 

If you lead the person to Christ,  point to him to 

1. Read the Bible daily

2. Pray daily

3. Join a Bible believing church to attend weekly 

The Fire that should consume us

​Flame-hearted Men Are The Crying Need Of The Hour!( adapted from HERALD OF HIS COMING)

Men aflame are needed for this midnight hour. The Flame of the living God became the Flame of the human heart to the glorious company in the upper room on the day of Pentecost. The church began with men in the upper room – agonizing, and is ending with them in the supper room – organizing. The church began in revival, it is ending in ritual. It started virile, it is ending sterile. The charter members of the church were men of heat and no degrees, the church ends with many holding degrees, but no heat!

Ah, brethren, Flame-hearted men are the crying need of the hour! Men to be a pillar of fire. God-guided men to lead a misguided people. Passionate Pauls to stir timid Timothies. Men of Flame to outshine and outburn men of name. We need knights of prayer to lead nights of prayer. We need true prophets to warn of false profits. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36).

The cry is, “Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly…Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep…” (Joel 2:15-17).

Inspired men are desperately needed! Believers with Spirit-generated souls are indispensable to this degenerate generation. The gale of end-time iniquity will blow out mere human flame.

The wise will understand. Be alarmed! The conflict gets stiffer! This is the night of blight and plight. Was there ever such an evil hour? Reiterated effort is the price we have to pay for progress. As the church goes, so goes the world!
